Santeria Social Club

Sono finalmente stato a Santeria Social Club per l'evento Rollover. Nel locale ci sono due opizioni per ordinare un cocktail: o al cocktail bar normale nella sala all'ingresso oppure nella sala grande riservata agli eventi. Chiaramente nella sala grande fanno drink più semplici, serviti in bicchieri di plastica. Quella sera il bartender principale Fabio Spinelli stava dietro al banco nella sala grande a fare dei drink come Moscow Mule, Vodka sour, Mojito e Gin Tonic. Anche se i ragazzi lavoravano velocemente, i drink erano drink, un altro livello rispetto a quelli che si trovano nelle altre disco di Milano.

Poi ho provato il vero cocktail bar, dove Andrea Arcaini ci ha preparato due ottimi drink: un Old Fashioned base Rye e un whisky sour con Bourbon. Entrambi erano strepitosi. Bravissimo!

Le Biciclette

Last week I had the pleasure to attend a brunch at Le Biciclette Art Bar & Bistrot, a historic bar in the Corso Genova neighborhood of Milano. Le Biciclette offers a Sunday brunch with an elegant buffet featuring dishes such as the delicious and vegan-friendly Quinoa salad made with fennel, celery, cucumbers, apple, honey and toasted hazelnuts. Another healthy and refreshing dish is the avocado salad with shrimp, cherry tomatoes and lemon. Served alongside the quinoa and avocado salad were savory crocchette made of quinoa and potatoes. 

When ordering alla Carte, I suggest both the eggs benedict and the classic hamburger - they are exquisite. 

To pair with your brunch, Le Biciclette offers unlimited refills of American coffee and the bartender Alessio suggests his twist on the Bloody Mary, the Bloody Bike featuring vodka and a few drops of Tio Pepe sherry served in a tumbler with a celery foam top.

If you are looking for a relaxing brunch with friends, there are few better options in the city than Le Biciclette.
