Il Birrificio Lambrate (anche detto Lo Skunky) è un birrificio artigianale in Via Aldechi, vicino alla stazione di Lambrate. Il locale è frequentato da frichettoni, metallari e gente che apprezza la buona birra. Nonostante la gente faccia abbastanza paura, questo "dive bar" ha un'atmosfera molto carina e accogliente...ma occhio alla gente che ti circonda. Mi hanno rubato due smartphone qui.
Le birre migliori al Birri Lambrate sono la Robb de Matt (IPA), la Quarantot (Double IPA), la Gaina (IPA), la Porpora (Dunkel bock) e la Ghisa (una stout affumicata). Per evitare di ubriacarvi troppo, provate le ottime melanzane alla parmigiana. Per una cucina ancora migliore, provate il nuovo pub in Via Golgi vicino al Politecnico di Milano. Grazie a uno spazio più grande, possono preparare dei piatti più elaborati in cucina. Suggerisco i piatti con la carne infusa di birra. A pranzo, i primi sono molto buoni.
Birrificio Lambrate aka the Skunky is a brewpub in Via Aldechi near Lambrate station that opened near 20 years ago. Frequented by a decidedly stoner/metalhead crowd, Birri Lambrate is an institution in Milano for beer lovers. Although the crowd is a bit rough, the dive bar ambiance is awesome. Just make sure to watch your stuff...I've had two smart phones stolen here.
The best beers at BL are Robb de Matt (IPA), Quarantot (Double IPA), Gaina (IPA), Porpora (Dunkel bock) and Ghisa (a smoked stout). To build a base before your drinking session, try their melanzane alla parmigiana (pictured above) or hamburger. For even better food, try their new location in Via Golgi near Politecnico di Milano. The space is much larger which allows them to make more elaborate dishes in the kitchen. I suggest any of their beer-infused meats (see below). At lunch, their pastas are also very good.
